Biden thus increased his electoral vote from 253 to 273.

Trump's victory in Georgia, Nevada and Arizona will not affect Biden's non-election.

After Joe Biden won the election, Harris was able to establish himself as the first black woman to run for vice president.

Harris is also a California senator.

Biden confirms, "I am proud of the confidence that the American people have in me and Harris, who was elected Vice President," Biden said in a statement.

"We will not stop our efforts until the people get the right votes and the democracies they deserve," Donald Trump said.
