Future of the US National Repute

US Coup, USA as Supper Power, US-Iran War

On Wednesday, A Sea of Trump supporters rushed against the Senate House while demonstrating a mass protest against the alleged rigging.

Although the protest is a constructive part of democratic rights yet the said mass mobilization for protests with special relation to the US political system is very sensitive on one hand and an alarming bell for the upcoming havoc regarding the US national strength and prestige on the other.

This is perhaps the first time of the ferocious intensity for the USA since it witnessed a revolution between1775 and 1783. Importantly, the mass demonstration is taken as a dent in the US political system because no violent protest in the wake of unfair elections in the USA has worsened to such an extent.

Deserted Time

No unprecedented evidence can be endorsed before it. This is also very critical for the USA particularly when the USA is declining in international affairs and having a comparatively weak economy. Moreover, the said-above protest reveals that the internal strength that the USA has enjoyed from the beginning of the 1950s has withered away. That is why the rigging allegations have appeared on one hand and the violent protests have been seen on the other.

Secondly, the polarization within a nation indicates its internal vulnerability. The said above trend in the US polity would lead to internal polarization that will undermine its national cohesion. To understand profoundly, the USA might become a weaker player in the international system.

Moreover, it is a shocking blow to US international repute. To examine the severity of this blow under the scenario of international competition, the challenging powers would enjoy an upper hand which will undercut the US share of international power.

Thus, the ongoing protest and the respective curfew is not a positive sign in the US national repute. If the massive protest in the US capital is not a positive sign, then how could the Trump administration think about waging war against Iran? Ironically, the Trump Administration seems to wage it at the greatest level as the experts speculate.
