Free Medical and Screening Camp Held at The Diabetes Centre Lahore

 
Free Screening Camp Lahore:

On February 23, 2023, The Diabetes Centre (TDC) Lahore organized a free medical camp for screening diabetes and its related complications. The camp was held at 19- Kamran Block, Wahdat Road, Allama Iqbal Town, Lahore.

 The purpose of this activity was to provide awareness to the staff and local people in a move to reduce the increased risks of diabetes. A team of professionals from TDC Lahore started the related activities early in the morning. A large number of staff and people participated here and got themselves checked up for free.

 For Type-1, Insulin and glucose were also distributed free to some persons. TDC’s doctors and other staff remained busy throughout the day from 8 am to 3 pm. TDC doctors highlighted the causes of diabetes to the participants who joined the camp.

 They also educated them on how to avoid its complications. The local people who got their free screening appreciated the preventive measures, commenced by TDC hospital against this menace.

 The area residents also assured their support to TDC for its pursuit to stop the widespread of this disease. The TDC representatives thanked them for their sympathy.
